RoseRock Wealth Management is focused on helping our clients create wiser wealth and live more fulfilling lives. Through education and by taking a disciplined approach, we seek to avoid behavioral mistakes that often derail investors that make emotion-driven decisions based upon fear and greed.

At RoseRock Wealth Management, our decision-making process is driven by a carefully constructed, long-term investment plan. The plan is created through a collaborative process with our clients that seeks to align their goals, tolerance for risk, and a desired rate of return.

We believe that investment management can only be done properly when done within the context of a comprehensive financial plan. Understanding a client’s tax circumstances, estate plan, and risk management plan is essential to properly construct a portfolio and manage the assets.

Ryan Huey President Rose Rock Wealth Management

Ryan W. Huey, CFP®

Before founding RoseRock Wealth Management, Ryan gained nearly two decades of valuable experience at a local Registered Investment Advisory firm.  He worked extensively with closely held business owners, executives, commercial real estate professionals, and retirees. 

 

Through his 18 years of experience, Ryan has a deep understanding of how emotions can cloud the decision-making process and lead to destructive behaviors.  “I am passionate about helping people avoid emotion-based decision making with their finances.  Perhaps our greatest value is being an objective voice for clients and helping them make good decisions during times when it is most difficult to do so.”

 

Ryan graduated from Abilene Christian University, where he met his wife, Gwin, who is a dentist.  Gwin and Ryan both share a passion for travel, cooking and spending time with family and friends.  Ryan is a member of the Touchdown Club, an organization that supports the Rise School of Dallas, a preschool for children with learning disabilities.

Franklin Matute, CFP®

Franklin joined RoseRock Wealth Management as a Wealth Manager in September 2018. He has over 10 years of experience in the industry, specifically, in areas such as estate, tax, insurance, and portfolio construction and management.

 

Before joining RoseRock Wealth Management, Franklin was a Financial Advisor with a fee-only advisory firm in Dallas, TX providing holistic wealth management in addition to managing corporate retirement plans.

 

Franklin completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University in 2007 and is a CFP® professional.  Currently, he is an active member of the Dallas/Fort Worth Financial Planning Association and serves on the board. Franklin is originally from Carrollton, TX. He and his wife, Kara, and son, Hudson, reside in Dallas, TX.  Franklin enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and golfing.

Throughout our investment and financial planning process, there is a single theme that drives everything that we do: always putting the clients’ interests first.  As fiduciaries, we are required by law to be held to this high standard.

Compensation Summary

As an independent, fee-only Investment Advisor, we work only for our clients and are compensated only by our clients. We do not have competing corporate agendas or products to sell. We are not paid commissions from products that are sold or based upon how often we trade. We are compensated transparently and solely by our clients, which properly aligns our interests with those of our clients.

Schedule of Fees:

 

1.0% of value on first $1.5 million of managed assets

.75% of value on next $1.5 million of managed assets, up to $3 million

.50% of value on next $7 million of managed assets, up to $10 million

.25% of value on managed assets over $10 million

We may impose a minimum annual fee of $10,000, negotiable at our discretion.
